Recognised by the Health and Safety Executive, NPORS provide courses, which ensure that machine operators are both certified and competent.
As one of the leading operator card schemes, the acronym NPORS meaning – ‘National Plant Operators Registration Scheme’ – is recognised as a mark of excellence in accreditation for plant operators across a wide variety of industries.
CITB is the industry training board for the construction sector in England, Scotland, and Wales. CITB helps the construction industry attract talent and to support skills development, to build a better Britain.
CITB an executive non-departmental public body in charge of our budget and activities. Sponsored by the Department for Education, and is also accountable to government ministers, and ultimately Parliament.
CPCS stands for Construction Plant Competence Scheme. CPCS training scheme provide proof of the skills and abilities of plant operators. It is based on a mix of professional competence, experience on site and Health and Safety awareness.
It is widely recognised as the preferred card to comply with codes of practice for competence and certification. If you are a CITB levy-paying employer you can offset the costs of training and testing.
